ABOUT US

Our mission is to identify, develop and promote creative talent.

CEN8 is a non-profit organisation based at Goldsmiths, University of London whose mission is to enrich lives through our innovative programmes, inspiring people to see possibilities and achieve their goals.

Delivered through our four programmes, CEN8Gold, CEN8Kids, CEN8Teens,  and CEN8Heritage, we run arts and performance after school, weekend and holiday clubs/projects designed to stimulate imaginative thinking, offer opportunities to develop creative and technical skills and gain experience in a wide variety of creative fields.

VOLUNTEERING

Volunteering for CEN8

We welcome volunteers at CEN8, in fact, we couldn't do without them! If you're a Goldsmiths student whatever your area of interest, or your level of skills, we will have a way of getting you involved! If you are a creative industry professional with an expertise or skill to pass on, we want to hear from you!

What would you do as a volunteer?

Volunteering opportunities include both supporting our children's/teens workshops as well as helping out behind the scenes with marketing/PR, fundraising, designing promotional materials, writing for our blogs/social media, filming and photographing our workshops/events or making videos, administration, management etc.

If you'd like to find out more, please get in touch!

TESTIMONIALS

Paulyne Chege

(Anthropology Development and Rights MA)

I got involved with CEN8 as part of my MA placement and continued volunteering because what CEN8 does is merge my love of creativity, work and life skills. One of the skills I most wanted to develop was project management.  I have been able to do this whilst working as a project facilitator on the CEN8Teens programme. My volunteering experience with CEN8 will be vital when I apply for jobs in the future.
